GUARD TOP 10 RESCUES In honor of its 217th birthday, the Coast Guard announced its list of what it has deemed its top 10 rescues ever, ranging from helicopter rescues of people plucked off roofs after Hurricane Katrina in 2005 to a two-day series of rescues in 1888 of 28 people from five different vessels that wrecked in a storm off Massachusetts.
